G2 Crowd is seeking an entry-level content associate to join our team and create content based on and in support of thousands of user reviews of business software. G2 Crowd is a business software review site that has been featured in TechCrunch, Forbes, Bloomberg Businessweek, and other news outlets; we’ve been called a “Yelp for enterprise software.”
At G2 Crowd, we’re changing the way that companies buy business software through authentic, unbiased user reviews. We have an open, collaborative environment, with an intense focus on teamwork and company culture.
We’re looking for a self-motivated individual with exceptional writing skills and an analytical eye to help us tell meaningful, data-driven stories and share data in interesting ways. One of the core responsibilities of this role will be researching different software products and industries, so a passion for technology is a must. The content associate will then use this research to craft compelling copy and reports for the G2 Crowd website, as well as creative and insightful blog posts for our blog.
Primary responsibilities:
- Researching software products and industries
- Writing informative content featured on G2 Crowd website, reports and blog posts
- Maintaining up to date product data on G2 Crowd
- Analyzing crowdsourced review content
- Developing and executing SEO content strategy
Required skills:
- Exceptional writing skills
- Bachelors degree in a related field
- A desire to learn about the software marketplace
- Fast learner who can work independently
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do what needs to be done (including administrative tasks)
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- SEO experience a plus
