The Controller is a key member of the Management team, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer. This individual will assume a strategic role in the overall financial management of the company. The Controller will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company. This will include responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, deal analysis, and investor relationships.

Responsibilities:

·       Oversee all aspects of the finance and accounting functions

·       Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgets and financial reporting; including daily and weekly cash flow reports

·       Providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts

·       Ensuring payment of all AP and reconcile bank accounts

·       Perform payroll functions

·       Ensure effective internal controls are in place for compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting

·       Manage key external relationships including banking, tax, audit, insurance, system and vendors

·       Assist in preparation of financial materials for presentation to partners, investors and board of directors

·       Develop and maintain contracts and internal controls

·       Superb financial modeling, planning, forecasting and analysis skills

Experience:

·       Bachelor’s degree in relevant area required (Finance, Accounting or Economics), MBA a plus

·       CPA with strong GAAP knowledge

·       5-7 years experience within the accounting field required

·       Experience working in early stage fast moving technology companies
