Savvo Stuff:  Did you ever stand in front of a huge wall of wine, beer, or spirit at a store and have no clue what to get?  Well the overwhelming majority of people have the same problem!  Savvo is disrupting the way consumers buy these products by narrowing the selection and providing the right amount of info through an interactive digital display piece that we call a Perfect Pairing Station.

Savvo is a digital tech startup providing connected marketing software and hardware (“Internet-of-Things”) for the huge, growing and fun adult beverage industry.   We have 10 of our last gen displays out in the market and have two units of our new iteration almost ready to go.  The plan is to get some testing done over the holidays while we iron out the details with some of our big partners already lined up for 2017 (including MillerCoors and Cooper’s Hawk to name a few).

Position Stuff: We have a long punch list of new features and capabilities that we need your help with!  Our current CTO has his hands full with backend dev projects and we need an experienced developer to make the frontend “pop.”  We are open being creative with title and role based on experience, goals, and commitment.  Either way we need a rock star developer who wants to build cutting edge, scalable software.  We need someone who sees this an opportunity to be part of something big at an early stage.  We have solid traction with big time clients.  The ideal candidate has a full time job and the extra bandwidth to commit ~15 hours/week to Savvo for the next 6 months until we can secure a meaningful round of funding; at which time we would want him/her to become full-time.

Technical Stuff (programming languages and platforms used): Programming languages and software currently used for the frontend are: HTML, CSS, Javascript, Knockout, JQuery.  FYI: we have a SQL database and a .net/C# backend.

Compensation: For the immediate future compensation will be 100% in equity, the size of which will be dependent on the skills and the amount of time the candidate can dedicate.  We will begin the next round of fundraising in early 2017 and would like to make this a full-time position then.
