Job Description
Raise is looking for Data Analyst from multiple verticals (Marketing, Sales, Operations and Product) to be part of Raise’s Analytics Team. As a Data Analyst, you will be part of core team that is responsible for delivering data driven insights and value to multiple business functions across the entire organization. You will be responsible for creating, analyzing and optimizing reports that help to drive critical business decisions. In addition to working closely with Data Scientists and FP&A Managers, you will have the opportunity to work directly with product managers, engineers, sales managers and marketing managers to help create long lasting impact in one of the fastest growing startup in the country.
- Working closely with the marketing and sales team to analyze and report on internal and external user data
- Help create transparent KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) across the organization
- Manage incoming ad-hoc reporting requests and data related inquiries
- Ongoing communication and delivery of data driven results and strategy to internal clients
- Identify key business value adds across multiple discipline of the business
- Execute quantitative analyses that translate data into actionable insights. Provide analytical and data-driven decision-making support for key projects.
- Derive report prototype with business stakeholders then work with Reports Manager to Develop and automate reports, solving for the BI and analytical needs
- Pull reports and model data from Raise’s customized BI platform and data warehouse
- Advance knowledge of excel
- Proficiency in SQL queries and relational databases
- Analytical mindset and curious in problem solving
- 5-7+ years of experience in data modeling, statistical analysis and experiment design
- Knowledge of data warehouse, data model design and implementation
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent collaborative skills
- Ability to create adhoc reports and deliver actionable insights
- Experience with online testing web analytics and testing platform is a plus (Google Analytics, Omniture, Optimizely)
- Exposure to R or Python is a plus, strong desire to learn new analytical language is a plus
- BA/BS degree or above in Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, or related field of study or equivalent experience
