Position Summary
The Data Analyst will work alongside the Engineering and Product team to ensure the deployment and success of Aquilon's proprietary ESN(TM) platform. This individual will be responsible for ensuring optimal functioning of our data aggregation software through the full data integration process with our customers as well as constantly monitoring all exchange feeds.

We are looking for someone who has a strong attention to detail, who is curious, and understands the business implications behind data.

Essential Functions and Duties
  • Maintain Aquilon's data quality standards by ensuring that information is complete - including researching and analyzing client data, mining data, conducting trend analysis, and reviewing variance reports to identify suspicious information.
  • Ensure all data is collected, validated using SQL
  • Continuously evaluate procedures, create and enhance analytical tools, and implement process improvement projects.
  • Act as an expert regarding investment data points and calculations, answering data questions for colleagues and clients.
  • Monitor and create statistics to provide client with detailed cycle times and assist with driving improvements where required.
Required Skills / Qualifications
  • 3+ years in a Data Analyst role - day-to-day management of multiple data feeds.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field preferred.
  • Intermediate experience with SQL query writing.
  • Strong analytical experience and understanding technology processes of information and data.
  • Proven success meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communicate in a clear and concise manner verbally, nonverbally, and in writing.
Preferred Skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
  • SSIS experience
  • Exceptional personality for working with co-workers.
  • Experience in the energy industry.
  • Entrepreneurial passion and drive.
