What you'll do:

• Work on building out Uptake’s suite of cutting-edge data science tools
• Collaborate with the Data Science team members to identify common problems and areas for automation and standardization
• Write packages and scripts to automate common tasks using tools such as:
• R
• Python
• Bash
• Spark
• Conduct research on best practices related to Data Science

Requirements:

• Experience with R, Matlab, or Python
• Previous experience with Scala, Java and/or Spark is preferred
• Knowledge of Git or ability to learn it quickly is required
• Ability to frame problems and execute on them independently is a must
