ParkWhiz is seeking a paid Design Intern for the summer to embed with our Marketing team and assist in the creation of amazing ads, creative concepts, videos, animations and other communications. ParkWhiz is on the verge of becoming a large consumer brand and this is an opportunity to shape the way the world experiences our brand. What You'll Be Doing: - Assist creative team in the creation of online and offline advertising, product and brand videos, email design, animations, print advertising, and social media ads.
- Cover a wide breadth of work. We’re a small but capable group and you’ll have opportunity to touch a wide range of projects.
- Participate in brainstorms, project kick-offs, and presentations.
- Currently pursuing a degree in design, motion graphics, advertising, or similar creative discipline.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud; specifically Photoshop and Illustrator. Big bonus points for experience in Premiere or After Effects.
- A digital portfolio that demonstrates a wide range of creative work. Video experience and interest is a plus.
- Ability to work quickly, and manage and prioritize work effectively.
- Proven self-starter who is comfortable in a fast-paced environment with short feedback loops.
- A passion for creative - ability to deliver creative output from concept to reality.
- Strong written and verbal skills.
- You will get actual experience at a booming tech company - we’re not looking for someone to grab coffee and file papers. You will leave with real work for your portfolio.
- Hourly paid rate
- Flexible schedule, though we’re looking for a full time commitment through summer
- Casual office with stocked kitchen and ping pong
