Since its launch in 1999, ShowingTime has ultimately automated the scheduling and management of real estate showings across the country, and brought about a new way for agents to share local market data.  We're looking for a DevOps Engineer to help us respond to growing market demand for our products. The DevOps Engineer will participate in hands-on billing of monthly customer invoices while managing a small billing team.  Specifically, this individual will improve day-to-day operations of the engineering team as well as the automation, deployment and health of the production environment.  Our platform consists of mobile applications, .NET web applications, Oracle & SQL Server databases, Windows and Linux Virtual Machines.  Specifically the DevOps Engineer will

·        Work closely with development teams to create deployment and monitoring solutions for software applications.

·        Deploy and configure builds to Production, QA, and Development environments.

·        Troubleshoot failed builds and communicate with developers.

·        Automate deployment and configuration tasks.

·        Manage Jenkins build configurations.

·        Monitor health of the deployed products and provide initial troubleshooting.

Those positioned for success in this role will have:

·        Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any other relevant field.

·        At least 3 years of experience as DevOps engineer, systems administrator, or software engineer.

·        Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in SaaS enterprise environment.

·        Experience with automation/configuration management using Microsoft Visual Studio, Jenkins, and Windows PowerShell scripting.

·        Experience deploying database scripts to Oracle or SQL Server.

·        Good understanding of Microsoft IIS and Windows Services.

·        Working understanding of programming language (C/C++, C#, Java).

·        Basic understanding of GIT or other source control systems.

·        Experience managing and setting up virtual machines in VMWare vSphere.

·        Experience with Linux/Unix, Elasticsearch, Redis, Asterisk, RabbitMQ, HAProxy, Nginx, and Nagios is a plus.
