Shiftgig, one of Chicago’s high-growth tech companies, is actively seeking a Digital Graphic Designer to work collaboratively with our developers, internal stakeholders and marketing team. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about turning their creative design into work websites, landing pages and emails!

You’ll be integral in implementing new designs and projects and consulting on digital design efforts across our business.

What you'll do:

• Leverage your creative design skills to create exceptional user experiences that engage target audiences and drive them to specific calls to action
• Bring brand positioning to life through websites, landing pages, email campaigns, online advertising, video, infographics, applications and more
• Lead the design and user interface of large scale, cross-platform, cross-device portals
• You’ll use your interactive design skills and problem-solving abilities
• Follow best practices for designs/strategies for all types of interfaces, mobile, tablet, desktop, etc.
• Own technical understanding of a CMS hosting environment, cross platform issues, and integration of other applications which affect the design/experience recommendations
• Work collaboratively with writers, marketers, development partners , IT, and others to create results-generating interactive experiences
• Drive to stay current with recent trends/advancements in interactive design and digital marketing
• Create infographics for various social media posts
• Provide digital design best practice guidance to the internal teams
• Manage time to deliver exceptional, quality work within established budgets and schedules

What you'll need:

• Project management experience a plus
• Established proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver (or other tools to design as well as create HTML, CSS, Javascript), general CMS experience
• Experience in other animation technologies (Flash / Animate) or Video Editing (Premiere / After Effects) highly desirable
• 5-8 years of experience creating digital designs
