An Insider's view of Sittercity

How does your team reward individual success?

Our shoutout channel is probably the most joyful corner of our Slack. Our team is constantly going above and beyond, and it’s a space to celebrate those individual wins. It’s also a reminder of all the awesome work done by those outside of who I typically work with!

Josh

Senior Product Designer

What projects are you most excited about?

While we have a lot of exciting projects happening, one in particular I am very excited about is a new product offering. We worked on a lightweight MVP earlier this year and are now iterating on another version. While it helps solve a problem for our users, it also improves our technology with a new way of building GraphQL API's.

Director of Engineering

How does the company support your career growth?

Sittercity has allowed me to take on different projects and claim ownership in order to grow. They've supported my career decisions, like moving from operations to customer success. Every project I do matters and contributes to our overall success. Not only has Sittercity helped my career growth, they've helped me grow outside of work as well.
