As a Director of Cloud Delivery you will work in our cloud platform technology team. We are looking for someone to lead them. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about automating deployment, configuration and analysis of our full-lifecycle environments. The candidate must love the challenge of working in highly distributed systems and virtual environments built on our own cloud infrastructure. In this role you will be center to helping design and operation environments that enable fast paced development and deployments while achieving high availability. We are looking for candidates who can approach the modern cloud discipline in new and creative ways and who are open and passionate about exploring new technologies to improve our overall environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Automated configuration management, with changes brought through a proper lifecycle.
• Automated deployment, with changes brought through a proper lifecycle.
• Automated monitoring system management with data driven approaches to analysis.
• Coordinating across teams to accomplish goals to deliver the application.
• You are responsible for furthering DevOps practices inside of SpringCM’s platform.
• Availability, performance and reliability must be architected into all decision-making.
• Strong expertise in leveraging a wide variety of open source technologies.
• Close involvement with infrastructure, security, quality, development and product teams.
• Project management for both short and long term initiatives.
• Platform innovation through scaling technology.
• Incorporate a culture of testing validation into change management.
• Full-stack awareness from DNS to data at rest.
• Constant desire to continuously stay educated about technology strategy & architecture.

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 10 years of experience in related field.
• 5 years of experience managing large cloud environments.
• 5 years of experience application delivery, DevOps or IT management/architecture.
• Strong code/scripting skills.
• Linux, Unix, MacOSX with complex network topologies.
• Experience working with virtualization software.
• Configuration Management tools such as SaltStack, Puppet, Chef or Ansible.
• Building and maintaining code and script controls in Git.
• Test and build systems such as GoCD, Jenkins, Travis, Ant, etc.
• Expertise with Object Stores, NoSQL databases, search engines and RDBMS.
• Logging/Monitoring/Alerting tools such as EUEM, ELK, Monitoring Systems and Analytics.
• Experience with security practices: vulnerability, analysis, hardening and access control.
• Strong Linux and Windows background.
• Strong in a Scripting environment (Bash, Python, Powershell, etc.)
• Experience with VMware ESXi.
• Experience with object storage concepts (Swift, Ceph, Gluster, etc.)
• Familiarity working with big-data systems (Cassandra, Hadoop, etc.)
