What You'll Do:

  • Create a strategic plan and engineering vision for the team, architecture, and development practices that delivers on the product roadmap
  • Lead and manage the team to deliver innovation and high quality user and business value as quickly as possible, leveraging industry engineering best practices, continuous improvement, coaching, performance management and architectural contributions
  • Define release schedules for the portfolio of products and internal systems accounting for existing technical debt, development bottlenecks, cost optimization, and quality goals
  • Build an efficient and productive engineering organization and system based on agile development practices, continuously ensuring that execution and quality is kept high and trending forward by establishing a baseline and success metrics
  • Contribute to the definition and execution of the business strategy by collaborating with other roles (e.g. Product Management, Services and Support) across the organization
  • Deliver on your commitments in partnership with the Chief Technology Officer and the team, including innovative, compelling, useful and usable products released at a regular cadence with high quality

  • What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise software design and development, with a proven track record of delivering
  • 5+ years in leadership or management roles
  • 5+ years in hands-on programming and architecture design for variety of enterprise software applications, with a proven track record of shipping products and/or solutions. Experience in a wide array of technologies (e.g. .NET, Java, open source) is preferred
  • Experience driving brand new v1 offerings, as well as modernizing legacy applications for maximum business value
  • Experience with Agile/Lean development methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is preferred
