We are seeking a candidate with Drupal site-building and development experience. Ideally, we’d like you to have themeing experience as well. You’ll work under our Lead Drupal Architect who is an experienced site builder and theme developer. You will assist him on projects, you’ll augment existing solutions, and work on your own projects under his supervision.

We favor a candidate with front end skills. The sites we produce have a strong focus on polished presentation, so it would be advantageous to have you take on various development roles throughout the process of building a responsive website, from establishing back-end infrastructure to front-end themeing.

Requirements:

• A strong understanding of Drupal 7 site-building, development, and themeing
• Ideally, 4-year degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Required: 1+ years professional experience as a full-time web developer
• Comfortable working under deadlines and juggling multiple projects
• Solid skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and cross-browser implementations
• Desire to build your front-end skills, and contribute to the office’s growth in this area
• Experience and understanding and continued interest in the latest in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript
• Comfortable building Drupal sites from scratch
• Comfortable processing imagery from Photoshop
• Experience and understanding of database schema design and SQL
• Experience with git
• Understanding of Drupal 8, eagerness to quickly move to that standard

Bonus Skills:

• Experience and understanding of object-oriented PHP
• Responsive and mobile HTML development
• Proficiency with frameworks such as Twitter Bootstrap
• Proficiency with Grunt
• Proficiency with Twig Template Engine
• Proficiency with jQuery or similar library
