To continue growing that audience, we are looking for an editor for our email program.
This person’s duties will include:
selecting and writing content for existing daily emails
conceiving of potential new email programs
maintaining the Curiosity brand voice across all communications
establishing best email practices
growing our email list and overall audience
work with the analytics and product teams to track metrics and lead our testing program
We're looking for someone who is:
A great writer with a strong voice for email that would be consistent with the overall brand voice of Curiosity, and can write or update related articles when necessary
A person with a vision for what an email program could be at Curiosity - someone who sees the potential for how emails could help our audience grow
A curious person who can relate timely content to broader topics that can propel lifelong learning
An explainer with experience communicating complicated stories concisely through text and visuals
A passion for experimentation and reaching new audiences
A strategic thinker who wants to see measurable results from email
Other requirements:
Degree in journalism, english, communications or related fields preferred
2-3 years experience in editorial or email marketing
photoshop/illustrator capabilities a big plus
