Embedded Systems Engineer
Amper is hiring an experienced embedded systems engineer to build the next generation of Amper’s data acquisition systems.
- Lead hardware design by owning architecture selection, engineering requirement specifications, mechanical and electrical design, and testing and validation.
- Write firmware for data acquisition, storage, processing, and transmission.
- PCB and electronics design, with emphasis on signal processing and sensors selection
- Help bring products to market by working with manufacturers in validating designs and testing requirements
- 2+ years work experience in consumer electronics or embedded systems development
- Experience with processor selection, serial communication protocols, PCB design and testing, and strong EE fundamentals
- Proven strong C / C++ development skills
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or comparable skill
- Experience with 3D design and mechanical fabrication (machining, 3D printing)
- Enjoy being hands-on in the lab and want to be in the details (soldering, oscilloscopes, data acquisition)
