About the Role
The Finance and Reporting Data Analyst is the perfect opportunity to maximize your accounting and tech skills. You will work with Finance, Product and client-facing team members to understand, track, evaluate, and report on requested report enhancements. You should have the ability to build a business case to articulate and defend a new report or enhancement. You will prioritize features to ensure Eved's new report releases meet internal and client requirements and be responsible for testing reports for accuracy prior to launch.
As the reporting specialist, you will work closely with the Eved Help Desk team to assist on client needs as they relate to reports. You will be fully accountable for the success of new and existing reporting capabilities on Eved.Responsibilities
- Design, maintain and own financial and trend reports in support of both external clients and internal support teams
- Draft written specifications to be used by programmers to develop reports
- Test existing and newly developed reports to ensure data integrity
- Challenge existing systems to seek additional value to the information being provided
- Analyze user trends and data to proactively create additional reporting to support the decision making process for clients
- Communicate directly with clients to assess and manage their reporting needs

- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field
- 1-3 years of full-time work experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability and knowledge of cloud-based technology and/or software as a service
Experience in one or more of the following a plus: event or hospitality industry, procurement, financial software systems, or tech start-up
