The Financial Analyst will work with the Sr. Director of Finance and VP of Finance on all aspects of financial reporting and modeling. Day to day responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Responsibilities:
- Compile monthly financial reports and presentations
- Develop new and maintain existing complex excel based models
- Provide analytical explanation of actual to budget variances
- Support and work directly with the management team in analyses and monitoring of financial forecast and key financial statistics
- Perform ad hoc financial modeling and analyses
- Financial admin of resource/project management system (Workfront)
- Assist in the annual budgeting process
- Interact with and provide guidance/assistance to other members of the Finance department

- Exceedingly organized; planning, executing and prioritizing your work in concert with the broader team
- Excited about working with data, measuring performance, and making objective decisions based on quantitative and/or deductive reasoning
- A self-starter who stays informed about the industry and brings concepts and ideas to the table
- An Excel aficionado; pivot tables, v-lookups, graphs and charts are commonplace for you
- A tamer of large unwieldy data sets with the ability to connect disparate data sets across systems
- A story-teller using PowerPoint to present your analysis in terms that connect with the business
- Someone who recognizes both positive patterns and inconsistencies and flags them for opportunity or correction
- An effective communicator both written and verbally; you smile a lot
- Looking for a place to both grow with and in which to support the growth of others around you
- Intellectually curious with an interest in the ”nuts and bolts” of accounting and finance
Your experience is:
- 2-4 years in a financial analytics role in a professional work place setting
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting (or equivalent). Masters a plus.
- Great Plains is a “nice to have” and helpful or another general ledger tool may suffice
- Some work with resource/project management tools like Workfront
