Freelance UI/UX Designer
Purple Binder is software to address the social determinants of health, designed to connect people to the care they need in their community.
Purple Binder’s Resource Directory is a web application where care coordinators are able to search through our database of social service program pages to find the exact right program for their patient and to then share that information directly with their patient.
What We’ve Done So Far
Starting from our current product interface for matching patients with community services, we have conducted 3 rounds of usability testing. The first round of testing was done on our current product interface, while the second and third rounds were conducted using Balsamiq mockups which incorporated amendments or new design features addressing key bottlenecks and limitations identified in the previous round of testing.
For example, testing identified a limitation that many participants wanted to share multiple program pages at once, but our current product interface only allowed for a single program to be shared with a patient at a time.
What We Have Now
Balsamiq mockups that have been tested with current and potential users of our product that address key workflow bottlenecks that existed in our initial iteration.
For instance, we have introduced a batch sharing feature and refined it until it was easy to understand and to use for participants in the third round of testing.
What We Need Now
We are seeking a UI/UX designer who can take our user testing notes and mockups and turn them into production-ready designs. Minimally, we are seeking HTML/CSS/JavaScript mockups with well-polished code. Ideally, we would like to find someone who is comfortable with building the frontend within our development environment.
We are looking for a designer who is able to begin working on this project in mid to late October.
