Must haves:

• A passion for software development and technology in general

• You’ve spent the the last few years writing web based applications using C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API and Angular.

• You’re very comfortable with the Microsoft stack, and willing to get your hands dirty in PHP/MySQL if necessary.

• You know HTML/CSS/JavaScript better than the back of your hand.

• You’re able to effectively use the Git source control system to branch, merge, and create pull requests.

• You can write high-quality unit tests.

• You must be eligible to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available.

• You must be able to work within our office in the West Loop area of Chicago. This is not a remote work position.

Extra points for any of the following:

• You’ve rewritten SQL queries to speed them up and you know how to optimize a database schema for better performance

• You know your way around IIS, Windows Server and Azure.

• You write to software in your free time or contribute to open source projects.

• You’ve developed for distributed systems, microservices, message queues, caching and web sockets.

• You’re an avid angler!
