Desired Skills and Experience

·         BS/BA in Computer Science or related science or engineering field

·         2-5 years software development experience. 2+ years of Java development

·         Solid experience and fluency in Unix or Linux

·         Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript in creating interactive web applications.

·         Experience with a Javascript MVC framework (AngularJS, Backbone, Ember)

·         Experience with a Java MVC framework (Struts, Spring)

·         Solid experience with JSON, XML and REST endpoints

·         Able to configure/manage development environment (HTTP Server, Application Server)

·         Solid knowledge of SQL and database design

·         Experience working on high availability, transactional applications

·         Attention to details and quality

·         Strong written verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical information to business users

·         The ability and willingness to proactively interact creatively and achieve results in a dynamic environment

·         Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

·         Self-motivated and able to successfully manage multiple priorities effectively and efficiently
