We are looking to add a global controller who is responsible for accounting controls, financial reporting, technical accounting, accounting functions and tax for STATS. This is a pre-CFO level position and a strong candidate will have either been a CFO at a smaller company or someone who is ready for the next step in 2-3 years. • Oversee timely monthly close of the General Ledger
• Maintain the company's overall system of accounts, books and records on all company transactions and assets
• Manage the company's daily cash flow
• Be responsible for consolidation and reporting of financial results
• Oversight of tax preparation and filings, and adherence to sales tax, GST and VAT compliance/payments
• Lead timely computation and payment of payroll, commissions, bonuses, expenses and AP/AR
• Coordinate audits and gathering of audit information
• Establish and Maintain accounting policies, including revenue recognition
• Build effective and efficient processes that support compliance to internal controls
