  Job Description

  Collaborating with the marketing, design and product teams the Graphic Design Specialist will be responsible for conception, design and HTML coding of Guaranteed Rate’s email campaigns. This person will be expected to work with project managers, marketing managers, developers and designers throughout the creative process and contribute to other digital design projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with marketing email best practices, from copywriting to responsive HTML email production. Plus a knowledge of, and a passion for current design trends across all digital platforms.

   

  Primary Responsibilities

  • Work closely with our in-house marketing team to define objectives, develop campaigns and one-off emails, get approval for designs, develop and test the HTML while hitting deadlines.
  • Work with designers and managers to improve production flow, re-code email templates to take advantage of current responsive email frameworks
  • Design original email templates for new products, custom requests and special events while working within our brand’s style guide.

   

  Qualifications:

  • Strong graphic design, layout, typography and HTML skills.
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver.
  • Knowledgeable in HTML5 / CSS3.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced environment.
  • Must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills.
  • Experience with Litmus, Zurb (or other HTML email frameworks) a plus.
  • Excellent time management skills for multiple projects with a range of scope.
  • Design portfolio with relevant HTML work samples.
