Position: Graphic Designer (freelance/contract position with opportunity to grow into full-time employment)

The basics:
We’re looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial graphic designer to create and maintain our marketing assets, content, and collateral to support our sales, marketing, customer success, and product teams. From concept through execution, you will help bring our brand to life through our marketing, brand, and design.

Responsibilities:
We’ll work with you on a project basis to manage our marketing materials. We have a brand style guide as well as existing marketing materials for your reference, but we’ll lean on you to translate our marketing efforts into designs. Specific design projects include:

• Print marketing collateral, including sell sheets, case studies, brochures, Powerpoint presentations, and infographics

• Digital media materials, including web banner ads, microsites, and potentially some website design

• Conference materials, including booth materials, banners, and Yapmo swag

These are our short-term needs that we’re looking to fill with a freelance designer. If we’re excited about your work, and if you’re excited about working with us, the position has the potential to develop into a full time role.

You are:

• Creative & innovative: Sometimes we know what we’re trying to say, but we don’t know how to say it. We’ll need you to help translate these ideas into designs.

• Collaborative & open-minded: You’ll need to be open to feedback and critique from various stakeholders, and sometimes we like trying crazy ideas.

• Deadline-oriented & communicative: We’ll give you the freedom to design and work as you please, but in return we ask for timely updates and communication.

The requirements:

• 3+ years of graphic design experience

• Relevant BS/BA degree

• Highly skilled with the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Microsoft Powerpoint

• Understanding and experience with digital marketing strategies

• Strong project management skills

• Strong knowledge of typography

• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS preferred

• B2B experience preferred
