Job Description

Responsible for equipment configuration and accounts set up for new hires and replacement Computers.

Responsibilities

• Configure computers and install software on new hire/replacement computers.
• Create accounts for new hires in multiple internal systems, including the Active Directory
• Configure MS Outlook
• Migrate data from a user’s old machine to their replacement machines
• Reimage computers
• Remove PST’s from terminated employee’s machines, and back up files on server
• Diagnose and repair hardware and software.
• Analyze returned equipment to determine if it is eligible to be reissued, utilized for parts, or if it should be recycled
• Weigh, package, and deliver completed equipment to UPS pickup location in building
• Install RAM/HD in desktops/laptops.
• Assist in checking in returned equipment.
• Data entry

Requirements

• Ability to multitask and to effectively manage your time.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work well within a team.
• Experience in relevant Microsoft technologies, including Office 2007/2010/365, and Remote support tools
• Experience in configuring/troubleshooting basic desktop and laptop PC hardware including swapping hard drives, adding RAM, and installing/configuring monitors
• Prior experience with Active Directory and MS Exchange server would be nice to have
