We’re looking for Video Editor who has a passion for creating cutting-edge and engaging video content. You will join a fast-paced, growing team where you’ll show off your creative abilities to push out top tier video content to our audience. The content being produced will be highly relevant to Dose's social presence and the new dose morning broadcast show. This person will establish a video editing style and aesthetic for a variety of different projects by working closely with our team of social editors and producers.
About the gig
- Actively work in all aspects of post-production including, editing, compositing, green screen, retouching, format conversion, encoding, sound production, sound recording, sound design, compression and mastering.
- Apply a deep understanding of what great social video content looks like to our projects at Dose.
- Collaborate with our team to develop creative aesthetic for a variety of digital editing workflows and digital formats.
- Keep up to date on industry changes and trends for social video.
- Work with on-site production media management and video card management.
About you
- 2-4 years of video editing experience
- You obsess over the technical details to ensure the video is perfect.
- Experience working with major video post-production software specifically Adobe Premiere and the additional Adobe Creative Suite programs
- Familiar with quick string outs
- Familiar with other online editing styles found in: online daily video series, YouTube, social media sites and non-traditional video series
- A good sense of humor and ability to collaborate with other editors and producers to achieve a common vision
