Overview:

Rise Interactive (http://www.riseinteractive.com), a rapidly growing full service interactive advertising agency, is looking to hire a Lead Test Engineer, aka a Lead QA Analyst, into the Innovation team. We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly motivated individual contributor that is excited about joining a new Innovation department and contributing professionally to an entrepreneurial company with an expanding Fortune 500 client base.

SUMMARY AND SCOPE

At Rise, we build great products. To build great products it takes talented test engineers to try to break them. That thinking is at the core of how we approach testing at Rise. As a Manager, Test Engineering, you'll play an integral role in ensuring high-quality standards of Rise's growing suite of products.

Responsibilities:

• Manage manual testing efforts of the QA staff
• Possess deep knowledge of each product to identify potential gaps in testing strategy
• Formulate test automation strategy appropriate to each product’s architecture
• Conceptualize, design, and implement test automation infrastructure
• Set quality standards across all tiers of the application development stack
• Oversee the quality of tests written by both QA and Dev teams
• Certify the integrity of the code promoted to production environments
• Lead and mentor QA team members across all product teams
• Promote proper engineering practice: bug prevention strategies, testability, accessibility, privacy, and other advanced quality concepts across products
• Stay informed of the industry best practices and apply them to Rise’s product line as appropriate

Required Skills:

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science
• 5+ years of relevant QA experience
• 1+ years of experience working with large amounts of real data
• 1+ years of implementing and using test automation harnesses
• Experience leading and mentoring 3+ test engineers
• Strong SQL skills
• Deep knowledge of test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases and debugging
• Deep knowledge of internet technologies
• Understanding of Agile SDLC
• Passion for Testing and Software Development
• Coding skills and experience in one or more Object Oriented programming languages: C++, Java, C#
