We're Mac & Mia and we're looking to bring on our first full-time engineer to help lead and execute our technology strategy. What's Mac & Mia? In simple terms, it's Trunk Club for kids. Our existing product and tools are built in Python using the Django framework and Bootstrap, but you'll have the freedom to use whatever languages, frameworks, libraries, or tools you need to get the job done.

Sample projects:
- Architect and implement data mining opportunities to improve the business
- Build and rapidly iterate on interactive prototypes
- Interview customers to understand pain points
- Design and maintain inventory and order management systems

We're an experienced and collaborative group who likes to work as a team. Your primary responsibility will be writing code, but you'll also have an opportunity to contribute and help solve real-world problems ranging from logistics to customer experience and everything in between.

Must have:
- 3+ years of experience developing web applications
- Great problem-solving skills
- Basic HTML, Javascript, CSS, and JSON skills
- Excellent communication
- Strong desire to learn and use new technology

Nice to have:
- Previous work in E-commerce
- Experience working in a data-driven culture
- Proponent of test-driven development
- Experience in web service/API creation
