Are you a hard-working and creative thinker looking to gain firsthand marketing experience? PowerReviews is seeking a bright and enthusiastic intern with a passion for social media to join its expanding marketing team. The Marketing Communications Intern will work under the direction of experienced technology marketers on social media and content marketing projects.

Key Accountabilities

  • Write creative, timely and engaging content for PowerReviews’ social media channels -- Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and Google+, as well as the PowerReviews blog, staying true to the tone and personality of the brand
  • Manage posting calendar for social media sites
  • Real-time monitoring of industry, competitor and partner/customer news
  • Curating assets and stories for social sharing
  • Creating, maintaining, and engaging with a list of top industry influencers in real-time
  • Identifying new opportunities to increase our social followers and interactions
  • Tracking and reporting on social media efforts
  • Other marketing projects as needed
Requirements & Preferred Skills
  • Working towards a Bachelor’s degree
  • Juniors going into their senior year preferred
  • Marketing, communications or journalism degree programs preferred
  • Previous internship experience a plus
  • Social media knowledge with experience in Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and Google+
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter with strong attention to detail and an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Willingness to learn, think creatively and execute quickly
  • Commitment of 40 hours per week
