Swap.com is revolutionizing the apparel industry by making it easy and fun to shop thrift stores with a few taps on your mobile device. With the majority of traffic coming from mobile devices, we are looking for a stellar mobile guru who will be the voice of all things mobile in the company. We need a marketer with product management background who is obsessed with mobile technology.
Reporting to the CMO, you will be responsible for creating and executing mobile campaigns to download the app, retarget mobile users, and drive adoption. You also will own the entire product roadmap and directly manage the agency which builds our mobile apps and features. You will create not only game changing innovations but implement all the essential foundational tagging for analytics and conversion rate optimization, deeply analyzing all the metrics and click data to drive more revenue.
What you’ll do:
- Coordinate app-based marketing campaigns (for existing app users)
- Create and manage app-based communications (in-app notifications, push notifications)
- Drive new app downloads and users
- Analyze app usage data and analytics to improve the app
- Roadmap new app features and improvements together with Development
- Work with the development team (external and internal) to materialize the items on the roadmap
- Manage the development of the new apps (Android next)
- Manage the release of new versions of the apps and new apps
Minimum Requirements
- 4+ years of Mobile Marketing experience in either a direct product roadmap role or a dedicated marketing role
- Experience in leading the development of mobile applications on iOS and Android
- Experienced leadership in product management and project management roles delivering apps used by large amount of consumers
- Experience in leading or guiding software developers in a business owner role using iterative Agile development techniques
- Experience with 3rd party tracking and analytics technology related to Mobile (Appsflyer, Leanplum, Localytics, Appannie, etc.)
- Strong ecommerce clickstream analytics experience (ex. Google Analytics, Omniture)
- Experience with push notifications software (Urban Airship, Kenshoo, etc)
- Ability to clearly communicate strategy, expectations and results between marketing and engineering teams, from writing business requirements and evaluating specific feature tradeoffs
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to articulate clearly and effectively over the phone, through email, and in writing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office solutions
- Organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities
- Strong prioritization skills to manage time effectively
