Ever had your credit or debit card stolen? Or maybe had your card declined at a store for seemingly no reason? You are not alone. It happens to millions of consumers at the merchants they shop at every day. Which is why we built Rippleshot. We detect the data breaches that cause these problems faster than anyone else in the market (about 102 days faster, to be exact), which means consumers can be alerted earlier, and banks, credit unions and merchants can act on the breaches quicker than ever before, and in smarter ways. We’re looking for a product manager who can position, message and educate the market on our product for financial services – Rippleshot Sonar.

 Data breaches are more than just a headline you read in the news every day. They’re causing billion-dollar losses to merchants, financial institutions, insurers, consumers and everyone in between. At its core, Rippleshot is a tool to catch them earlier - and it’s gotten us quite a bit of attention. Rippleshot Sonar is endorsed by the American Banking Assocation. We’ve won innovation awards both locally and globally. And we’ve also been through Plug and Play’s FinTech accelerator in Silicon Valley, SixThirty’s FinTech accelerator in St. Louis and MasterCard’s Start Path program.

 

What We Need:

Rippleshot is seeking a seasoned product manager who can take initial client feedback, stories from the field and a pile of data and turn a bunch of product features into a compelling solution.

This job also involves the following responsibilities:

  • Specify market requirements for current and future revenue generating products by conducting market research supported by on-going discussions with customers and prospects
  • Translate product strategy into detailed user stories, requirements, and prototypes
  • Prioritize and communicate these requirements to the development team for execution
  • Assist with the development and implementation of a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute
  • Explore potential partner relationships for the product
  • Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding
  • Work alongside sales & marketing teams in messaging and positioning the product, as well as Rippleshot, as a key resource and destination for fraud professionals

You’ll Be a Great Fit If:

You are curious and love to engage others to ask lots of questions and you are capable of distilling that feedback into a product vision. You have proven that you can define and launch an excellent product or products and you have a desire to work in FinTech. You’re smart enough to work just about anywhere, but you’re picky about finding the right role. You’re experienced, but you love to learn, and you want to work with other smart people like you who want to have fun building something great.

 You also meet many, if not most of these qualifications:

·       You have at least three years experience as a B2B product manager, preferably with a software as a service.

·       You have both technical and business aptitude, and depth to command respect of both engineering and client facing teams.

·       You have a great eye for detail and will get nitty gritty details to find out exactly what our target market needs.

·       You are an amazing listener and can make people very comfortable to share their product needs with you.

·       You are results oriented and are comfortable working in a loosely structured work environment.

·       While we currently have a great product, you have the mind to be able to visualize a product that doesn’t yet exist.

·       You have built product specifications and frameworks, and can show us examples.

·       You won’t be responsible for closing deals, but you are very comfortable on the front of the sales cycle, making very warm introductions between prospects and sales.

·       You are well connected in the payments industry and have established relationships with individuals at financial institutions.

·       You are able to travel, as some travel may be required.
