What You’ll Do:

As a Product Manager on the Market Applications team, you’ll be the key driver in determining the “why”, the “what”, and the “when” for new market applications defined as strategically valuable to Uptake. You’ll conduct customer development interviews, collaborate with teams across the company, and help refine and build Uptake’s market applications.

 Responsibilities:

  • Identify and form coherent product opportunities from a company-wide market backlog
  • Conduct user research to maintain a current and informed view of the market
  • Manage the roadmap and build out of the products and features defined by Product Strategy
  • Collaborate with the UI/UX team to define simple, yet meaningful, user experiences
  • Participate in product architecture and design discussions to help improve Uptake’s ability to implement and deliver cutting-edge applications
  • Track and benchmark existing market applications to identify possible improvements
  • Lead and utilize best practices in an Agile Development, Lean Methodologies, and Continuous Deployment

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
  • 2 to 4 years in a product management role, technical and startup expertise preferred
  • Execution-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced, loosely structured environment
  • Ambitious self-starter with a passion for making technology enterprise-ready
  • A strong interest in the latest trends in data processing, machine learning, and predictive analytics
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, communication, and project management skills
  • Ability to make real-time autonomous decisions when conditions change, based on understanding of the user context, business objectives, and client needs
  • Fluency with user-centered design, service design, and various software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
  • Experience with conversion tracking and optimization leveraging third-party analytics tools (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Optimizely, etc.)

Location

We are located in River North just right off the Chicago Brown Line stop. We also provide you with a free shuttle service to/from Ogilvie and Union.
