What you'll do:
As a Product Trainer, you will assess, design and deliver internal and external platform training for Uptake employees and its users. You'll be responsible for designing, expanding and maintaining curriculum for Uptake’s platform, which spans multiple industries.
You’ll have the opportunity to combine a passion for teaching with enthusiasm for technology. Your efforts will drive learning and establish positive customer relationships. You will have excellent communication skills and proven internal and client training experience.
Responsibilities:
- Work with management to assess the existing and emerging training and certification needs for clients and Uptake employees
- Work with key partners and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and effective training content
- Create, maintain and revise training agendas, outlines and scripts
- Work with Uptake Product Support, Content Strategy and Brand teams when preparing training materials
- Facilitate training sessions for clients and internal teams at Uptake, as well as at client locations
- Schedule and hold frequent webinars to update clients on platform features
- Assist in other departmental needs as they relate to training and certifying Uptake employees on the platform
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3 to 5 years of client-facing consulting/training experience
- Experience creating training and certification plans for internal and external users
- Experience with developing instructional design materials for webinars and instructor-led courses
- Experience creating e-Learning courses using Captivate
- Experience with technical system training
- Knowledge of Agile development methodology
- Excellent communication, written and oral presentation skills
- A strong “stage presence” and ability to manage a classroom of adult learners
- Superior relationship building and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
- Self-sufficient, self-starter with proven success taking ownership of training plans
- Entrepreneurial experience and attitude
- Ability to travel (domestically and internationally) 10 to 25 percent of the work week, as needed
