As Production Manager you’ll be responsible for leading the Production team and for all client facing delivery projects.  The Production team customizes, deploys and maintains a range of mobile, online and messaging products the power our  Fortune 500 clients’ live events.  You will also work with the team to provide feedback, propose features and assist our Product and R&D groups in creating the next generation of our tools.

In this role, you will:

• Lead a team of 6-8 direct reports to deliver projects on time with minimal errors and within the timelines provided to account management
• Uses JIRA to track production requests, manage demand, and assign work to a team of web application developers and graphic designers
• Be responsible for project scheduling, capacity planning, staff training
• Communicate effectively with the account management team, QA, R&D and our clients (where necessary) when establishing projects
• Manage third party vendor relationships, including budgets, process and issue resolution
• Manage within approved budget. Adequately prepare for accounting and review cycles.
• Maintain a key metric dashboard to measure process efficiency, defects, demand and capacity planning
• Plan and maintain career paths for the department, working closely with HR to determine hiring, training, or staff performance needs

You should have:

• Passion for creating great online experiences
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field
• At least 6 months experience in data-driven development
• Team-focus with proven ability to mentor and coach direct reports
• Strong project management, problem-solving and communication skills
• Working knowledge of core web technologies (HTML, XML, AJAX, JavaScript, JSON, and CSS)
• Intermediate to advanced SQL knowledge a plus
