What you'll need:
- 3+ years of Python as your primary programming language
- Creating RESTful APIs
- Debugging Python
- Taking ownership over parts of an application and collaborating on global issues
- Experience with relational and non-relational data stores
- Linux/UNIX as your server OS
- Excellent communication skills (English)
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with Postgres, MongoDB and/or Couchbase
- Flask and/or Django framework experience
- Experience working in GO or a desire to do so
- Algorithm performance optimization
- Using SQLAlchemy as your ORM
- Experience working with message queues (RabbitMQ)
- Unit testing (we don’t do TDD, but we like coverage - a lot)
- Experience with Agile methodology
- Experience working in a Startup environment
