 We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with great working knowledge of QA Automation testing, who can generate well articulated test cases and work with our cross functional teams in fast paced, agile, and release driven environment. This person will be expected to facilitate architecting, designing, and implementing new and existing testing tools and methods and become a key contributor to the overall project team, and a technical resource on testing.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Define, develop and implement quality assurance practices and procedures, test plans and perform other QA assessments
  • Write code, testing protocols and plans and maintain scripts, test sequences and implement manual procedures to ensure proper test coverage
  • Execute test plans on pre-release, upgrades and current versions of software
  • Work closely with development teams within the company to promote software quality standards
  • Engage in test case execution including defect documentation and tracking, resolution support, and fix verification
  • Participate in test team activities including requirements analysis, test planning, tracking, reporting, and support of test cycles
  • Work closely with Customer Support team to replicate customer issues
  • Identify relationships of bugs to the software code; Anticipate and prevent problems and roadblocks as they occur

Technical Requirements:

  • Experience with Python, SQL, agile software development environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Possess excellent communication skills (verbal and written), and have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management as well as a diverse technical team
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change in assignments and priorities
  • Experience designing and maintaining automated tests for whitebox and blackbox testing
  • Experience executing REST API tests
  • Experience with Git or other distributed revision control and source code management systems
  • Knowledge of best practices for the Software Development Life Cycle (SLDC)

  • 5 years QA experience
