 Rocketmiles is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our development team in our West Loop headquarters. 

You will be responsible for testing our web and native mobile applications. Working directly with development and business teams. Contributing writing and maintaining automation and unit tests along with manual testing responsibilities. 

You should have a solid understanding of CSS, HTML, Javascript, experience with any programming language of your choice, understanding of different kinds of software testing, automation testing and its limitations, experience and understanding of RESTful APIs, and experience with Agile methodologies. 

The following is preferred but not required: 
  • Experience working with Jenkins, basic AWS knowledge
  • Experience working or automating Angular web applications
  • Experience with deployments and test environments
  • Experience with code reviews and debugging
  • Experience testing and automating native mobile apps (iOS/Android)

What are some social events your company does?

Every year, Rocket Travel puts on an annual company retreat. Last year, we went to Scottsdale, AZ where we got to spend time with our co-workers from all across the Globe! One of my favorite memories was participating in a team building event where we got to build dog houses and donate them to military families in need.

In the morning, I set time aside to drink coffee & plan my day. Our team does a daily sync to discuss goals & where we need support. The majority of my time is spent creating and updating email journeys for our partners as well as for Rocket.
