Grubhub is seeking a Quantitative Insights Analyst to assist with ongoing research projects. We’re looking for a self-starter, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You should be as comfortable working across data streams as you are with presenting to executives.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Help translate big-picture client needs into actionable research plans
- Execute and analyze market research projects; ensure high data accuracy at each phase of the process
- Create compelling, highly visual research presentations that yield actionable insights to key stakeholders across the organization
- Run SQL queries to connect survey data to user data (order history, geography, etc.)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2-3 years of primary research experience (supplier or client side)
- Strong interpersonal / communication skills (written and oral)
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines
- Strong sense of ownership and proactivity to bring projects to completion
- Experienced with Google Consumer Surveys, SurveyMonkey, and other self-service research tools
- Experience with various types of quantitative market research studies, including awareness tracking, A&U studies, segmentation, and brand equity research
- Comfortable merging qualitative insights with quantitative data
- Proficient with writing SQL queries
- Experience with data and statistical tools, including SPSS, R, Stata, or others a plus
- E-commerce or technology research experience preferred, but not required
