Reporting to the Director of Regional Marketing, this Regional Marketer will head local marketing efforts in designated cities across the country. He/She will work with the Director of Regional Marketing, the local General Manager and local team to execute programs on a hyper local level to increase new diners in key cities. This position is located in the Chicago Office.
Some Challenges You’ll Tackle- Source new and exciting marketing opportunities in your region
- Be the “expert” on what drives business in your markets and be able to make suggestions on how to draw new diners to Grubhub
- Work with centralized team and operations team to complete tasks such as local partnerships, guerilla marketing and local media placements
- Work with other members of the local team to scale business and handle relationships with outside vendors
- 5-7 years experience of marketing management experience ( especially with field marketing)
- Relationship management experience and being able to work cross functional
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Being able to work independently and just as well as a team
- A team player attitude and drive to “win”
- Demonstrates previous experience in a similar position
- Ability to communicate and build relationships with multiple different teams across the organization
