Emmi Solutions is looking for an Information Security Analyst to join our team. As Security Analyst you will be working on the development and implementation of our Information Security Program. 

The Security Analyst will report to the Senior Director of Security and Architecture.

Responsibilities 

• Monitoring security tools including SIEM, virus scanners, and malware filters
• Reviewing reports from vulnerability scans, source code scans, and third party assessments
• Monitoring threat databases and alerts for relevant activities
• Raising issues to technical teams for resolution
• Documenting remediation and compliance activities
• Responding to client assessment requests
• Reviewing vendor assessments
• Assisting with audit activities
• Working with security team to enhance security program, including writing policy and procedure documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, CS, or related field required
• Experience with HIPAA or other regulated environment
• Experienced user of Microsoft office suite
• Solid understanding of business practices with fundamental understanding of project management methodology
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work on deadline and communicate effectively with management and clients
• Ability to work with external vendors and set expectations with internal stakeholders
• SSCP or similar certification preferred
