NextRadio is changing the landscape of broadcast radio and is seeking a Senior Android Developer to join our development team. This role is instrumental in development and keeping up with the insane growth of NextRadio in the mobile and automotive space. 

NextRadio: a unique app that combines broadcast radio with the internet to create a hybrid radio interactive listening experience on FM enabled smartphones (http://www.nextradioapp.com).

 

If you had been working here recently you would have:

- Delivered an industry-accepted API for FM radio services.

- Worked with engineers from all the top OEMS (Samsung, HTC, LG etc.).

- Interfaced with carrier delivery managers and QA staff.

- Collaborated with designers on a new UI iteration.

 

In the near future you should expect to:

- Develop and support NextRadio applications for the connected car.

- Guide new carriers, mobile and automotive OEMs on supporting NextRadio.

- Design and develop exciting new features and music experiences.

- Support a rapidly growing international user base.

Must have:

- Excellent native Android skills.

- Delivered an Android app to market.

- Agile and rapid development and delivery experience.

 

Extra Credit:

- Android Auto experience

- Ford Applink or other connected car experience

- Git branches and code merges

- Gradle build variants

- Experience in C#, ASP.net, iOS

- Test Driven Development

- Amazon Web Services
