• Work with disparate data sources (first and third party) - extracting knowledge and actionable information from massive datasets
• Develop algorithms focused on customer and partner behaviors

• Continuously learn new approaches in machine learning and feature extraction techniques
• Mine data for issues and unidentified wins, then automate and develop tools around that
• Continuously strive for a deeper understanding of our business drivers
• Convey your work and results to a wide variety of stakeholders – nerds and non-nerds
• Offer insight to all aspects of the organization – product, marketing, engineering and finance

• Education demonstrating a mixture of math, statistics and engineering
• You aren’t afraid of coding, probably even like it. Python, R, or your personal favorite
• Comfort in a complex data environment
• Strong familiarity with MySQL
• Experience in transactional and data warehouse environments (Postgres, Redshift) with a track record of bringing order to raw data
• Ability to extract your own data without support from a Data Engineer
• Familiarity with statistical computations, predictive analytics and data visualization
• A love for insights, innate curiosity, and a deep desire to find ways to create value
You like to formulate the right questions versus just seeking answers to make sure the best and smartest decisions get made
