Responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers and architects to build reliable and resilient applications
• Build automation to manage deployments of software and infrastructure
• Work with development teams to understand behavior and configuration of the businesses applications and educate them on the infrastructure that supports it
• Own and support the infrastructure, including logging and monitoring

These skills/experiences are a must

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5+ years developing web applications and services with Java
• 5+ years using with automation/configuration management tools such as Chef or Puppet
• 5+ years creating automated CI/CD Pipelines with tools such as Jenkins
• 3+ years utilizing virtualized infrastructure including both VMs and containers
• Strong background working in Linux/Unix environments
• Familiarity with network architectures and security best practices
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
