We are looking for a detail-oriented, highly motivated and tenacious individual that is excited about getting involved in an entrepreneurial company with an expanding Fortune 500 client base.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer you will build and maintain our various product and development platforms. This position is an operational engineering role and you will be an integrated part of our product development teams. You will be build engineering automation and productivity tools to streamline and scale applications across all environments while working collaboratively with all participants in agile software development cycle. We believe strongly in DRY principles as such you will automate everything to minimize manual work and meet security and compliance objectives in all aspects of Rise Interactives development ecosystem.

• Scale our infrastructure in an automated fashion
• Treat infrastructure as a product by contributing ideas on how to continually improve automation services and resiliency of the platform
• Process re-engineering
• Communicating and collaborating with others
• Monitor and instrument everything, particularly data applications and databases
• Participate in an off hours support on-call rotation
• Provide tooling to all of engineering
• Patch and maintain Windows and Linux servers
• Maintain and evolve Active Directory forest and system integrations
• Follow and execute Production, QA, Dev and other environmental change control processes for multiple SaaS products.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.

• Programming experience in Bash, Ruby, Python, or similar scripting language
• Automation using Ansible, TeamCity or similar technologies
• Windows server administration; Linux server administration with Ubuntu or similar debian distro.
• Amazon Web Services including EC2, EMR, Kinesis, Elasticache
• Microsoft Azure including Azure Networking and Azure Active Directory
• Web server administration using IIS and/or Apache
• Knowledge of agile processes (Scrum / Kanban)
• VPN (both site-to-site and client-server)
• Possesses a positive and professional attitude, even during hectic periods
• Experience in Azure and Rackspace cloud
• Open Source/ Enterprise infrastructure management
