Our team needs a strong and nimble partner to understand our customer purchase behaviors, report on the performance of our marketing efforts across multiple channels (digital, search, social, offline) and show an unending curiosity that leads us to new business insights, better ideas, and growth. The Senior Marketing Analyst reports to our Chief Marketing Officer, and will collaborate with the entirety of our marketing team in measuring and scaling our efforts.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • What you'll do right away:
  • Take ownership of our data and constantly push to improve its quality and integrity. Help move our team faster, make better decisions and drive triple digital growth in adoption and engagement
  • Embed with our team, understand our channels and programs, and own development of our key metrics, reports, dashboards, visualizations, and data flows
  • What you'll always do:
  • Translate complex marketing questions into actionable insights through data analysis and present clear recommendations to the team
  • Help optimize marketing spend across multiple markets and channels as well as assist in our forecasting and modeling
  • Develop a familiarity with our data sources including operational databases, internal tools, and external industry trend data
What You Bring to the Table:

  • Strong SQL skills
  • Bonus for familiarity with Looker and Python
  • Basic understanding of consumer technology mobile products and how to market them effectively
  • Experience building sophisticated data visualizations and presenting results concisely to non-technical audiences
  • Strong quality assurance and business focus with keen attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication - ability to speak clearly and plainly to explain complex issues and translate to clear insights to otherwise non-data wonks
If you have these, even better!
  • Strong data visualization skills (e.g. Excel, Tableau, D3.js)
  • Modeling and forecasting experience
  • Mad kickball skills and encyclopedic knowledge of entire "Game of Thrones" universe
