If you thrive on analytics, know what it takes to make top search rankings, and consider yourself a leader instead of a follower (class president perhaps?), then you have the potential to be our next SEO Specialist! This role requires a sharp, strategic thinker who is as comfortable independently pulling the trigger on important decisions as he/she is effectively leading a team—it’s time to roll up your sleeves and get to know your co-workers! Still interested? Here’s what it takes to make the cut:

You’re always on top of your game.

  • Implement and maintain smart SEO strategies, to include game-changing SEO copywriting, keyword research, and link building efforts.
  • Exceed client expectations (read: blow them away!) on a daily basis by monitoring and optimizing campaigns.
  • Provide recommendations and strategies for continued SEO campaign improvement—because there’s always room for it.
  • Regularly manage high-quality reporting and communicate performance and insights to clients on a regular basis.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends, best practices and search algorithm updates.

You’re the manager everyone always wanted to work with.

  • Act as key point of contact for the Digital Advisors and Field Sales Team.
  • Use your noggin! Continuously think about ways the SEO team can expand their knowledge so that the SEO process and product can be improved.
  • Assist in the training of new hires and SEO Specialists on all L2TMedia processes, products and SEO best practices.

You’re comfortable wearing several hats.

  • Consult with Digital Advisors and Field Sales while implementing and monitoring SEO strategies.
  • Own it! Take accountability for individual clients, as well as additional SEO projects that are assigned.
  • Work with the technology team by providing recommendations, user-experience testing and support for internal platform development while adapting to Agile software development methodology.
  • You don’t have to be superman/woman all the time! Delegate tasks to appropriate departments and be sure that fixes are implemented globally.

Keys to success:

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize while continually meeting deadlines.
  • Enjoy being self-directed while being equally comfortable contributing in a team environment—we promise, we’re fun!
  • Exceptional communication skills in a variety of mediums.
  • Easily adapt to a change in responsibilities, work processes, timeframes and performance expectations.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to come up with new, creative solutions. Tip: count ideas instead of sheep.

Know-How:

  • 2+ years of SEO experience required.
  • Google Analytics Certified preferred.
  • Strong computer skills—particularly Microsoft related.
  • Google Webmaster Tools experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Associates degree and relevant work experience is required.
  • Complete understanding and application of Google Analytics and Webmaster Tools.
