What You'll Do:
- Translate functional requirements into conceptual and detailed designs
- Implement proof of concept, prototypes, and production-grade software
- Create unit and acceptance tests, in collaboration with the Quality Assurance team
- Implement robust, scalable, secure, and globalized features
- Make regular contributions to engineering standards and best practices
- Make regular contributions to test automation
- Enforce coding and peer review standards
- Mentor and lead junior team members
- Java, C# and/or other Object Oriented Programming Languages
- SQL
- AWS or other demonstrable experience with open-source Cloud
- Experience in a DevOps Environment
- Big Data application design, development, and optimization
- NoSQL data modeling and administering
- HTML/CSS
- JavaScript
- Experience in an agile development environment
- Continuous integration and unit testing
- Ability and desire to learn new technologies
- Ability to understand big picture problems and develop solutions
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and/or experience
- 6+ years of software development experience on world-class teams
