About The Role:
Yello is seeking a metrics-driven, content writer to play a key role in our demand gen program and drive leads through strategic search content. We are looking for someone who is equal parts accomplished writer and quantitative explorer; not solely one or the other. The SEO Content Manager will report to the VP of of marketing and work closely with the outside SEO consultant to execute on our current SEO strategy, while brainstorming new channels and tactics. This individual will work in tandem with our marketing automation manager and communication specialist, to create and execute content that will lead to positive demand gen outcomes. As necessary, this individual will also work closely with the visual designer to align all content with appropriate visuals for maximum impact.
 
You will: 
  • Develop and execute strategy to drive top of the funnel leads that convert to Sales Accepted Opportunities (SAOs)
  • Create, collaborate, manage and edit high-quality digital content targeted at identified industry personas. Content must balance SEO best practices, as well as industry trends and readability among our B2B audience
  • Conduct ongoing competitive analysis that provides insight into industry trends
  • Provide daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and ad hoc reports using Google Analytics, SalesForce and Hubspot
  • Perform regular site audits to determine if content is reaching goals; suggest and implement changes in real time when necessary
  • If budgets allow, work with marketing automation manager to implement and optimize paid search methodologies
How You'll Make An Impact:

What We're Looking For:
  • 3-5 years experience professional experience in marketing with a focus on SEO content
  • Demonstrated success in how keyword optimization programs have created lead generation success
  • Strong knowledge of Google Analytics skills (Google Certified or Google Individual Qualification preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of all social channels
  • Knowledge of SalesForce, Hubspot or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Able to interpret often complicated or industry-specific information and translate into digestible content
  • Excellent organizational skills and militant attention to details; able to maintain consistency across multiple projects
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written; excited to work across teams and departments
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, startup environment, where rapid iteration is encouraged
  • A self-starter, independent and innovative individual capable of looking at old problems in new ways
