Overview

Rise Interactive (http://www.riseinteractive.com), a rapidly growing full-service interactive advertising agency, is looking to hire an SEO Engineer, a.k.a. Internet Marketing Consultant for our SEO team. We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly motivated individual that is excited about getting involved in an entrepreneurial company with an expanding Fortune 500 client base.

Summary and Scope

The Internet Marketing Consultant, SEO is responsible for overseeing all facets of his/her team and their accounts. This includes ensuring the development of impactful Internet marketing programs that improve our clients' organic visibility as well as meeting their return on investment goals.

Requirements:
  • Must be analytically driven with elevated attention to detail
  • Must have demonstrated experience with basic data analysis
    • Regression and forecast analysis are preferred, but not required
  • Ability to understand semantic relationships between topics in the context of SEO optimization
  • Basic knowledge of technical components of web-sites or web assets
    • Website development experience is a significant plus
  • Written/verbal experience with a 2nd language is a plus, but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Above-average task management and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated experience with excel or other spreadsheet tools
    • VBA skills prefered but not required
Responsibilities
  • Executing daily client research and deliverables
  • Developing SEO monthly reports and insights
  • Utilizing multiple datasets to perform keyword research, strategy, and on-page content optimizations for a variety of different client verticals
  • Analyzing multiple datasets for technical issues such as http status errors, page speed, and log file analysis to provide client recommendations (training provided)
  • Identifying trends in keyword topics to help influence content recommendations, social media syndication, and information architecture
  • Staying current on changes and best practices in SEO and digital marketing
  • Performing competitive gap analysis to help identify areas of opportunity for optimization and content buildouts
  • Developing external link building strategies
  • Responsible for meeting hours/time requirements for client deliverables while maintaining quality of work

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 0-3 years’ experience with analytics, PR, development, content marketing, or SEO – preferably online advertising, direct marketing, or e-commerce industries
  • High competency level in MS Office including PowerPoint, MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Strategic and creative thinking – always focusing on innovative, but measurable client solutions
  • Results-and detail-oriented
  • Self -motivated team player who consistently strives to exceed goals and push revenue expectations
  • Demonstrate deep familiarity, interest, and trends of Internet Marketing is mandatory
  • Able to work with minimal supervision while maintaining focus and productivity
  • Flexibility and ability to quickly adapt to new situations

  • AP Style Writing
  • Familiarity w/ MozPro, Linkdex or similar tool, GSC, Screaming Frog
