SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

Job description

The Social Media Manager will work hand in hand and report to the Director of Marketing. They will be responsible for the strategy, management and execution of ParkWhiz’s owned and earned social media marketing.

As a critical member of ParkWhiz’s marketing team, this individual will manage ParkWhiz’s social media marketing - to include content ideation, creation, editing, curation analysis and optimization. They will utilize social media to develop and increase brand awareness, drive traffic across ParkWhiz’s digital ecosystem.  The Social Media Manager must be a highly motivated individual with a proven track record managing social media solutions.

The ideal candidate will have extensive personal and professional experience creating and promoting content for all major social channels, experience with crisis and response management and a proven track record of working solo and with teams to conceive, create, and execute highly engaging social media campaigns. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a solid social network and social influence who believes that social media is one of the best channels to build awareness, drive engagement and inspire others.

This is full-time, on-site position.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Own social strategy and execution

  • Create or curate relevant, compelling and engaging social media content for our community of marketers

  • Oversee design of social media assets (ie: Facebook timeline cover, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, Twitter profile, etc.).

  • Implement, and manage promotions and/or paid social ad campaigns that drive measurable results.

  • Develop ambassador program using subset of ParkWhiz’s existing user base.

  • Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy.

  • Analyze campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising the social media campaigns.

  • Track, analyze and optimize social media campaigns utilizing social media software.

  • Monitor app and website conversion metrics and provide recommendations for optimization.

  • Actively test and analyze creative, calls to action and landing pages to increase ROI and drive incremental increases in volume.

  • Create and maintain a social media calendar for short and long term efforts, ensuring that the content for social media channels is aligned with the Marketing, Creative & Events calendar.
