Software Business Analyst
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Identify and report issues regarding financial advice algorithms
Create detailed quality control processes to ensure functional, clean software
Manage manual and automated testing plans
Maintain and publish changelogs and release notes to keep track of software updates and known issues
Meet with external partners and internal stakeholders to gather requirements and report progress
Help organize and coordinate data integration across financial institutions
Obtain and document financial data domain knowledge from internal experts
Transfer domain knowledge to designers, developers and testers
Communicate effectively with designers, software engineers and financial advisors
Organize and prioritize project workflow and keep team members on track to meet deadlines
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
You have a bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Design or equivalent experience
You are comfortable working with datasets and enjoy mathematical problems
You have experience with or interest in scripting languages
You are self-motivated and have experience maintaining your workflow independently
You possess strong communication skills and are eager to work with people across skillsets and seniority
You are detail-oriented and have experience juggling multiple priorities and overlapping project timelines
You understand the software development life cycle and development methodologies such as agile, waterfall and lean
You’re comfortable representing Nextcapital in communication with outside teams
Experience in financial planning or investing is a plus
